Signs your radon system needs service
The manometer (the U-shaped gauge on the pipe) should show an offset between its two columns; if the liquid has leveled out, the fan is not pulling. Other signs: the fan is silent or unusually loud, or a routine re-test came back at or above 4.0 pCi/L. A fan typically lasts several years of constant running before it needs replacement.
We replace the fan, verify suction and airflow, re-seal any new entry points, and run a post-repair radon test to confirm whether the home is back below the action level.
